ff. 1r-59v: Gregory the Great, Moralia in Job (Commentary on the Book of Job) (imperfect), beginning at the end of chapter 52 (Book 2): '[...] concremare [est flamma eas] divini amoris incendere, ut totum cor in Dei amore ardeat'. Book 2 ends imperfectly in the middle of chapter 56 (f. 2v): 'sed quae virtutis'; one quire is lacking; Book 3 (ff. 3r-5r) begins in the middle of chapter 3 (f. 3r): 'non frustra percussus est'; ending (f. 5r): 'ut expositionis ramos postmodum prout singular expetunt loca producamus. Explicit Liber Tertius'; Book 4 (ff. 5v-41r), beginning: 'Qui textum considerat et sensum sacrae loquutionis ignorat', ending: 'Et servus liber a domino suo. Explicit Liber quartus'; Book 5 (ff. 41r-59v), beginning: 'Incipit Liber quintus. Cum valde occulta sint divina judicia'; the end is damaged and the text partially erased, ending with Book 5 chapter 45: 'ut bestialiter solus vivat'.
Decoration:
Decorated initials in brown, some with geometrical, zoomorphic or floral motifs, at the beginning of books and chapters, including an initial 'Q'(ui) at the beginning of Book 3 (f. 5v) with fish. Uncial initials in brown and rubrics in capitals in brown (ff. 5v). A circle containing text surrounded by dots (f. 3r-v).
Although the leaves have been cropped in the upper and lower margins, some quire signatures in medallions (e.g., f. 54v) and running titles (e.g., f. 13r) are still legible.
