Signed by F[rançois, duc] de Montmorency, R[ené] de Biragues [Chancellor of France], S[ebastien] de l'Aubespine, é[vêque] de Lymoges, and Paul de Foix, on the part of France; and by [Sir] [Tomas] Smith and [Sir] Fra[ncis] Walsyngham on the part of England. At the end is a contemporary copy of a commision from Queen Elizabeth to Edward Fynes [Clinton], Earl of Lincoln, etc., Sir T. Smith, and Sir F. Walsingham to receive the ratification of the same treaty, from Charles IX.; St. James', 25 May, 1572. Lat. Vellum. Quarto.
