Miscellaneous tracts in Latin. Mostly medical treatises, but also containing a collection of motets.

At the beginning are fly-leaves containing portions of hymns to the Virgin, with music. Description from Augustus Hughes-Hughes, Catalogue of Manuscript Music:
ff. 1-4b. Motets, written in England, in long lines with large initials. Imperfect. Square and diamond-shaped notes on a stave of 5 red lines, with the C signature.
1. ‘Felix namque Maria.’ One part. f. 1.
2. ‘De supernis sedibus fortitudo mittitur ad salutem Virginis.’ Three parts, a fourth being probably lost. f. 1b.
3. ‘Prolis eterne genitor.’ One part, f. 2b.
4. ‘Quem non capit fabrica magnifica.’ One part, with a pes. f. 3. On f. 4b is what appears to be a fragment of another part.
5. ‘Psallat mater gracie; gaudet ecclesia.’ One part, with pes. f. 3b
6. Fragments of other motets, f. 4.
After this there are some miscellaneous tracts, in Latin:-
1. Extracts and sentences from the Fathers and Scripture; beginning, "Jeronimus super illud Ecce nos reliquimus omnia," f. 5. Contained in this tract, f. 5 b, is the decalogue in English verse: " pu schald o god louien and heren, pu ne schald nout by hym vals sueren. pu schald pyne hali dey wyten. And pine eldre wrthscipen. pu scald lecherie flen. pu ne sachald nout monsladth beD. pu ne schald no ping stele. Ne uals withtenesse here pu ne schald nout uuilne pine negebures wif. Ne noping pat to him bilith." 2. Mathematical problems, f. 12 b.
3. Zodiacal and lunar tables, and calendar, with directions for their use; and a treatise on the quadrant, beginning, "Cum quadrantem componere volueris," f. 13 b.
4. On "aqua vitae;" beginning, "Aqua vite prima simplex, secunda composita, tertia perfectissima," f. 26.
5. Treatise on fevers; the Latin translation by Constantinus Africanus from the work of Ishák ibn Sulaimán, beginning imperfectly with the end of the second part, f. 28.
6. "Glose Egidij [Corbeiensis] versuum de urinis," f. 68.
Vellum; in different hands of the xiiith cent. On f. 9 is the beading of a letter from Stephen, Archbishop of Arles [1349, 1350] papal chamberlain, to the inhabitants of the city and see of Worcester and in the calendar, f. 25 b, 27 Dec. is the entry, "Obiit Robertus Dymhok, pater Ade de Cyrencestria;" in writing of the xivth cent. The name Mussard, of the xvth cent., appears on f. 5.
