A translation of the Latin work "De Regimine principum," written for Philippe-le-Bel, before his accession in 1285, by his tutor, Egidio Colonna. The present translation, executed by order of Philippele-Bel, is here attributed to "Henry de Gand," and in other copies to Henry de Gauchy. Paper; circa 1500. In a stamped leather binding of the same period. On f. 1 is written, in a contemporary hand, ". . presen liure apartient a Hector de Daurefor de Merlemont;" and inside the cover is a modern book-plate, with the arms of "Claude Bernard Rousseau, Auditeur des Comptes." Quarto.
