MEDICAL TREATISES, translated from Arabic into Latin "per magistrum Johannem de Capua, phisicum medicum in Romana curia MCCC;" viz.: 1. "Liber Alzaharan de egritudinibus particularibus a capite usque ad pedes:" preceded by a general treatise on the human body. A work by Abul-Kasim al Zahráwi known in Latin as Albucasis or Als-aharavius, who was physician to Abd-el-Rahman III. of Cordova, and died about 1009, f. 2.
2. Liber Isaaci filii Salamonis "de Febribus." A work by Ishak Ibn Sulaimán al-Isráili, who died as physician of the Court at Kairwan, in Tunis, in 932, f. 229.
3. Moisis Maimonidis aphorismi de rebus medicinalibus, ex scriptis Galeni et aliorum collocati: in twenty-five parts, with a Prologue, f. 249. Paper. At the end of the first treatise is added, "per manus Henrici de Gandauo 1452, mense Augusti," and at the end of the book is the same name with the date of 1453. On the edges at the bottom of the book is written, "Azarauij opera." The arms and name of Ovidio Montalbani [a physician and professor at Bologna, d. 1671] are traced in pen and ink on f. 2. Folio.
