TREATISE "de Immortalitate animæ," by Jacopo Camphora, of Genoa; translated from Latin into Italian by Naimerio de' Conti, of Padua, and dedicated to Ercole I., Duke of Ferrara. At the end is the colophon: "De immortalitate anime opusculum in modum dialogi Explicit feliciter per me Johannem de trottis die 4 Aprilis 1472 Scriptum." Vellum; with two illuminated initials, and a miniature representing Hercules slaying the hydra, within a niche, on the base of which is a Latin elegiac quatrain, between shields bearing the arms of Este. Within the arch surmounting the niche is a badge in the form of a ring enclosing a flower. Octavo.
