"DE GRÀVEN van Hollant, mitsgaders de Privi1égien der Stadt Rotterdam." Thirty-six figures, cut out of Hollandiæ Comitum Historia by Hadrian Barland [Leyden, 1584], with one exception (No. 36, Philip II.), which is from some later work. They are pasted on separate pages and coloured, and are accompanied by copies of charters granting and confirming the privileges of Rotterdam, 1281-1658. Dutch. Interspersed are coloured drawings of the arms and seal of Rotterdam, and of coins, etc.; and at ff. 6, 7, 8 b are coloured maps of the city, both drawn and engraved. At the beginning of the volume is inscribed, "Jacob van Wouw. Ao MDCLXV;" and at the end, "Finis coronat opus. Anno 1665." Paper; in a leather binding of the period, stamped and gilt. Folio.
