1. "KAROLINUS Egidii [Parisiensis], scriptus ad instruccionem illustris pveri Ludouici Francorum Regis filii." An hexameter poem on Charlemagne presented by Gilles de Paris to Louis [afterwards Louis VIII.], son of Philip Augustus, in 1200: in five books, with an introduction in prose, f. 4 b.
2. "Chathalogus Romanorum Pontificum," down to Innocent III. [1198-1217]; followed by lists of the prophets and kings of Israel, the Roman emperors, etc., f. 42.
3. "Liber de uirtutibus et laudibus compositorum medicaminum metrice compositus, editus a magistro egidio corboilensj." An hexameter poem sometimes entitled de Antidotis, written before 1200 by Gilles de Corbeil; in four books, with a prologue in prose, f. 45.
4. "Instituta M[agistri] egidij de iudicijs urinarum." An hexameter poem, known as de urinis, by Gilles de Corbeil, f. 113. At ff. 124-6 are a few modern French notes upon Gilles de Paris and Gilles de Corbeil. Vellum; XIIIth cent.; with a leaf at the beginning, containing figures of the four cardinal virtues, each supporting a medallion inscribed with the arguments of the first four books of Karolinus; a medallion in the centre contains the argument of the fifth book; and at the bottom is a sixth medallion, with the figure of Gilles de Paris presenting his work to Prince "Ludouicus," with these words on the open pages, "Hoc opus egidij parisiensis habe." Octavo.
