Account books of John Rider and his son, John, printers of Little Britain, London, and afterwards Bartholomew Close, together with a journal relating to the print trade, and miscellaneous papers; 1786-1833, 20th cent. Partly printed. John Rider, son of the William Rider, author and master at St. Paul’s school, was active as a printer from 1760 until his death in 1800. The business was continued by his wife Emilia, 1801-1805 and with her partner William Weed as Rider and Weed, 1805-1825, and by John Rider, the younger, 1826-1851.
