WOODEN TABLET, Slightly whitened and with ruled lines, for use in a Greek school in Egypt. At one end is a projecting knob, with a hole bored through it, by which the tablet could be hung from a nail on the wall. On one side is a paradigm of the optative and participles of the verb ---------------- on the other a series of variants of the sentence ------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ designed to illustrate all the cases of the principal noun and the adjectives and participles agreeing with it.
