The translation by Florence Conroy, Archbishop of Tuam, from the Spanish work entitled Tratado llamado el Desseoso y por otre nombre Espejo de religiosos, Toledo, 1542, for which see Brunet, Manuel, ed. 1861, ii. p. 627. Chap. vi. of Part i., which ends abruptly at the words "nidh heilgal do " (f. 9, Louvain ed. p. 33) is written in a third hand on different paper, several blank leaves of which follow. The text is resumed in a fourth hand in the middle of chap. xiv. at the words "agad fein nach fuil ag do chomharsuin" (f. 10, Louvain ed. p. 92, ad fin.). At f. 101 b the first hand reappears and continues to the end. Ends (Part iii. chap. xv.) at the words "ata am Righ am shearbhontaigh" (f. 113 b, Louvain cd. p. 343). Paper; ff. 103. 7½ in. x 6 in.
