1. Grants by the Abbey of land in South Brent, 1270-1314. Lat. The names of several abbots are given. f 1.

2. Boundaries of the moors of Brent and Buckfastleigh, and of Dartmoor Forest, the latter taken 24 July, 1240, by Richard, Earl of Cornwall. Lat. f. 15.

3. Covenant between the Abbey and Sir Richard Champernoune concerning the bounds between Kingsbridge and Dodsbrook, 1402. Lat. f. 15 b.

4. Notes of heriots and reliefs paid in Brent manor, March, 1569- March, 1608. f. 16.

5. Abstract of court-rolls of Brent manor, "touchinge their customes," 1331-1568. Eng. and Lat. With an addition in another hand, 1624. f. 21 b.

6. General confirmation of lands by Richard I. to the Abbey, n. d. Lat. f. 25.

10. Abstract from court-rolls of Churchstow manor, 1513-1607. Engl. and Lat. f. 32. On ff. i, 13 b, 14, etc., there are notes by the scribe concerning the sources of these copies. On f. 27 is a note of the death, in 1856, of John Elliott, lord of S. Brent manor, and on f. 35 the name of another John Elliott, 1871. Vellum; IT. 35. 11 in. x 7¾ in. Circ. 1610.
