GENEALOGICAL COLLECTIONS relating to the family of Underhill, by William Underhill, of Hove, co. Sussex (d. 1909). Rough maps of localities where there are place's or families of the name are interspersed, together with arms in colour, a few portraits and drawings of houses, etc., facsimiles of signatures, and biographies. It may be noted that William Underhill, of New Place, Stratford-on-Avon, sold it to William Shakespeare in 1597 (see Vol. I., f. 67), and that several members of the poet's family had relations with that branch of the Underhills.
