1. " Cy commenchent les cronicques du roy Richart dengleterre, comment ses seigneurs le trahirent et de sa mort et le couronnement du roy Henry de Lencastre, qui fu couronne apres lui en lan de grace mil ccc iiiixx et xix " : account of tlio betrayal and death of Richard II., as printed by Benjamin Williams (Engl. Hist. Soc., 1846). The text includes the paragraphs on the capture of the king, nearly as in the St. Victor MS. Beg. " Le roy Richart rendy la ville de Brest," and ends " et a tous les trespassez. Amen. Explicit du noble roy Richart." f. 2.
2. " Le traictie des questions et debatz qui ont este et sont entre les roys et royaulmes de France et dengleterre " ; in three parts. The third part is concerned with the breaking of the truce in 1449. Beg. " Pour co que pluisseurs a la relacion daultrui," and ends " le feront pareillement iusques a la fin." f. 60. Paper; ff. 126. XV. cent. Coloured initials. Arms on 18th cent. leather binding (1st and 4th Bonavides, 2nd and 3rd Castile?, an escutcheon of pretence chequy), surmounted by a ducal coronet. Purchased by Sir Thomas Phillipps at Sotheby's, 28 June, 1861 (sale-cat. lot 687). Phillipps MS. 15718 (sale cat. 1899, lot 1010). Afterwards belonged to Robert Steele. 10 3/4 in. X 7 1/2 in.
