BOOK of Accompts of the churchwardens of Strood, co. Kent, with inventories of church-plate, books, etc.; 1555-1763. The accompts for 1641 have been cut out. At the end are inserted printed copies of A Form of Prayer for the General Fast, 14 Mar. 1760 (f. 676), and of A List of Benefactions to the Parish of Strood, 1860 (f. 686). Paper; ff. 687. On the old calf binding (now laid down inside the cover) was printed " This book was new bound in 1714." Bequeathed by Humphrey Wood, Esq., of Chatham.
