CORPRESPONDENCE Of the family of Paston of Paston, co. Norfolk, Viscounts (1673) and Earls (1679) of Yarmouth ; 1551-1699. Prefixed are transcripts of four deeds, 1431-1442, now in the British Museum (Add. Ch. 17227, 17232-17234), and a draft in Sir John Fenn's hand of a table ot' contents of a volume of Paston letters, mostly unpublished by him or by Gairdner. The present volume supplements three collections of the Paston correspondence previously acquired, Add. MSS. 27443-27448, 33597, 34888, 34889. A few of the earlier letters are marked with the symbol and initials of Francis Blomefield, the historian of Norfolk, as having been examined by him. Extracts of all letters of public interest are given in the 7th Report of the Historical MSS. Commission, App. p. 530, when they were in the hands of George Edward Frere, of Roydon Hall, co. Norf.
