CORRESPONDENCE of Rev. Philip Morant, the historian of Essex; 1728-1770. Supplementary to the letters in Add. MS. 34650. Morant's own letters, except those to Ducarel, are drafts. Numerous annotations in the hand of Thomas Astle, who married Moraut's daughter, Anna Maria. The letters, or some of them, afterwards belonged (1795) to his second son, Philip Bills (formerly Astle). Seven volumes. Folio. The names of the writers are given in the Index.
