(1) Transcripts by Stainer of one sacred and six secular motets in Latin, and of twenty-four songs in French and Italian, from Oxford, Bodleian Library MS. Canonici misc. 213. ff. 1-36;- 2) Musical scores by Stainer, in modern notation, of twenty-three of the secular songs transcribed in (1). ff. 37- 132 ;-(3) Transcripts by Stainer, from copies made by Charles Tindall Gatty,
of other works of Dufay contained in Monte Cassino MS. 871, including part of a Magnificat. ff. 133-152. The transcripts are annotated by Stainer, passim. The secular song 'Revelons nous' (f. 16) was published in his Four Examples of the secular Compositions of Guillermus Dufay, 1895, and again in J. F. R. and C. Stainer, Dufay and his Contemporaries, 1898. Paper; ff. 152. Large quarto. 1895-1898. Presented by the transcriber.
