The writers are:-(1) J- Barkmann, commissioner; I Aug.-Dec. 1656. f. 2 (2) Benjamin Bonel ; 19 Jan.-4 May, 1655. f. 47 ;-(3) Peter Julius Coyet; 16 Mar. 1655-18 Jan. 1656. f. 58.-(4) Christer Bonde; 20 July, 1655-22 Aug. 1656. f. 185. Many of Coyet's letters are in Germ.; the rest are in Swedish. At the beginning (ff. ii-x, b) Engl. summaries of most of Bondes letters are given, with brief descriptions (ff. xi-xii) of those of Coyet, in the hand of S. R. Gardiner. Paper : ff xii + 412.
