The treble of an anthem by Purcell ("My song shall be alway," f. 12 b) is also included. Among the instrumental compositions are "Duke upon Duke" [by H. Holcombe, 1723]. f. 6; "Joy to great Cæsar" (the tune to which G. B. Farinelli set his ground, and Corelli his "Follia di Spagna" variations). f. 8 A new tune to the Prince William, 1722." f. 17; A minuet by Buononcini. f. 17 b; "The Merry Beggars." f. 36 b (reversed); "The Silent Woman." f. 34b; "Love's last Shift" [by D. Purcell, 1696]. f. 31 b; "The Country Wake" [by T.
