2. Copy of return of the Aid for the marriage of the King's daughter Eleanor ordered to be assessed 29 May, 1290, but not collected till 31 Edw. I [1302-1303], for twenty-seven hundreds in co. Norf. Five hundreds are missing at the end, but the text supplies some omissions in the returns as printed in the Public Record Office Calendar of Feudal Aids, vol. iii, especially in Tunstead and South Erpingham hundreds. f. 5. Two fragments attached at the beginning (ff. i, ii) contain portions of a farm accompt with a reference to Stiuekey [Stiffkey] manor [co. Norf.] ; 18 Edw. [I, 1289-1290 ?]. Vellum; ff. ii + 28. 101/2 in. x 7 in. Temp. Edw. III.
