"PEAL CHRONICLE" of the Society of Union Youths of Newport, Isle of Wight, containing a record of peals rung at various churches, etc., throughout the kingdom, with occasional notices of new bells hung, deaths of prominent ringers, etc., 1718-1821. The names are given of the ringers of peals at Newport and Carisbrook (the first recorded at Newport being in 1791), and, in some cases, of those at other places. Paper; ff. i + 135. Folio. On the last cover is the inscription "The Gift of William Rayner, January 7th 1802." Bookplate (f. i) of W. C. Pearson. Presented by Rev. William Carter Pearson.
