MS. 15307, ff. 134-135), the nine homilies are numbered as eight owing to a lacuna (on f. 212 b) including the end of hom. viii and the beginning of hom. ix. Beg. (after list of chapters) : "Lector quidem presentis lectionis." f. 195.
4. "Omelia eiusdem Origenis in libro Regum," translated perhaps by Rufinus (ib. 995). Imperf. at end. Beg. "Non tunc tantummodo deus plantauit." Ends : "usquequo sterelis peperit septem . et" (ib. 1011). ff. 213b-222b. Vellum; ff. 222. 12 3/4 in. X 91/4 in. xii cent. Written in Italy. Gatherings of 8 leaves (xvi9, f. 122 being an inserted leaf, last5, wanting a leaf at the end). Sec. fol. "nostrum uel." Illuminated initials in gold and colours, North Italian style, on ff. 1, 130 b, 131 ; numerous large red initials, slightly ornamented. On the former cover is inscribed (18th cent. ?) "volume 12."
