1. Cardinal Wolsey to Henry VIII on the death of the Pope, [Leo X], and his chances of succeeding, him, 31 Dec. [1521]. This, with Nos. 2-7, is evidently copied front a MS. subsequently belonging to Sir Thomas Hanmer [? 4th Bart., m. in 1698 Isabella, Dowr. Duchess of Grafton], at Euston, in Suffolk, the signatures of Nos. 2-6 being in facsimile, as in Add. 27402, which contains copies (ff. 38-40 b) of the same seven articles. f. 1.
