COURT-BOOK of the seigneurie of Trouhans, in the bailliage of Dijon and Duchy of Burgundy (now cant. St.-Jean-de-Losne, arr. Beaune, dept. Côte-d'or), held by Phillippe de Crux, chevalier, 1469/70-1476. Fr. For a short history of the seigneurie see M. Courtépée, Description du duché de bourgogne, in (1778), p. 357, and P. Dhetel, L'Abbaye de Notre-Dame-de-Lône, 1864, p. 258. In 1469 it was assessed on 82 servile hearths or families (J. Garnier, La Recherche des Feux en Bourgogne, 1876, p. 75). in addition to the records of the ordinary sessions or " jours " of the court, held at irregular intervals, the MS. contains also (ff. 179, 301 b) records of two extraordinary sessions (" Grans Jours ") presided over by an official of the Duke of Burgundy. On f. 6 has been copied John i.
