Her letters were lent by his son, Sir Graham Balfour, to Sir E. T. Cook for his Life of Florence Nightingale, 1913. Copied, in part, in Add. MS. 45772, ff. 230-283. Also quoted in Sir V. Z. Cope, Florence Nightingale and the Doctors, 1958.
