ALBUM OF HARRIET LEE (b. 1757, d. 1851), novelist and dramatist; circa 1793-1843. Autograph. Mostly comprises poems and brief essays, etc., composed by herself, but apparently unpublished. Also includes (ff. 74b-75b) a copy of a poem attributed to Bernard Barton, the Quaker poet, entitled 'Drab Bonnets', beg. 'They may cant of costumes & of brilliant head-dresses'. Presented by the Libraries Committee of Willesden Borough Council.
