CATALOGUE BY DAWSON TURNER, F.S.A. (d. 1858), of the more remarkable printed works in his library; 1839. Rough draft, written on the backs of discarded sheets of letters, mostly autograph. In the original arrangement. Included in the sale of his MSS. (Puttick and Simpson's sale-cat., 6-10 June 1859, lot 497), when it was bought in by his daughter, Miss Mary Anne Turner (b. 1803, d. 1874); the fair copy of the catalogue was lot 496. See W. R. Dawson, 'A Bibliography of the Printed Works of Dawson Turner', Trans. of the Cambridge Bib. Soc., iii, 1961, pp. 232-56. Apparently came into the Department of Manuscripts with Add. MSS. 45734-45741, which were presented by Miss G. F. Palgrave and the Rev. F. M. T. Palgrave, great-niece and great-nephew of Miss Turner. Incorporated from the Departmental Reference Library.
