Title:

4I508-4I5I0. COLLECTIONS OF IRISH AIRS, transcribed for pianoforte by Edward Bunting, musician and antiquary, with some translations from Irish poetry. The MSS. represent that portion of Bunting's collection which descended to his grandson, Dr Louis Macrory of Belfast. The bulk of it is now in the library of Queen's University, Belfast. The airs collected by Bunting down to I809 have been republished (with an exhaustive commentary) in the Journal of the Irish Folk Song Society, vols. xxii-xxvii, I927-I936. Three volumes.
