EXCHEQUER ACCOMPTS of Sir William Heyricke [Herrick], one of the four Tellers of the Receipt, comprising the Receipts and Issues of the Exchequer passing through his hands for the two half-yearly terms, Michaelmas 1621-Easter 1622, Easter-Michaelmas 1622. The Receipts are arranged under a variety of headings, the Issues under two, viz.:-(1) Payments of salaries and annuities, with the signatures of the recipients or their proxies (the more important are indexed);-(2) Payments by virtue of writs of Privy Seal and other warrants. At the end of each term's accompt is the note (ff. 67b, 122): 'The Roll of this Accompt delivered to Sir Robert Pye', then Auditor of the Exchequer.
