Correspondence and papers of Richard Waite Cox, clerk in the Sick and Hurt Office, Tower Hill, London, William Ward, of Benenden, co. Kent, and their families; [1753]-1845. Two volumes. The greater portion of this correspondence was printed by C. F. Hardy, Benenden Letters, 1901. Included are letters and documents of the Cleveland family to which Ward was related through the marriage of his daughter, Sarah, to William Cleveland; among these are three letters from John Claveland (sic), physician in the service of the East India Co. at Calcutta, 1778-1784, and Sarah Cleveland's 'Recollections of other days' (41665, ff. 203-256), extracts from which are printed by Hardy, op. cit., passim. Paper; ff. 215, 259. Folio. A.D. [1753]-1845. Presented, with Add. Ch. 67373, 67374, by Mrs Charles Frederic Hardy.
