Morant, History and Antiquities of Essex, i, pp. 76-78), made by the same; 1 June 1563. ff. 4-5 b;-(3) Hastingleigh manor and Aldglose manor, in Hastingleigh, co. Kent (see Hasted, op. cit., iii, pp. 304, 305); 20 May 5 Eliz. [1563], followed by a rental of the same. ff. 6-9b. The MS. was formerly part (ff. 316-324) of a larger volume, the last folio (now f. 9) being wrongly numbered 344 (for 324). Paper; ff. iii + 9. Small folio. Late XVI cent. Formerly lot 234 in an unidentified sale-cat. (see f. ii). The number 580/30 in pencil on the vellum cover may also be a sale number.
