TRAVELS in the Caucasus, Georgia, Persia, Armenia, ancient Babylonia, etc., with notes, maps, plans, surveys, views, and other drawings of interesting objects; by Sir Robert Ker Porter, K.C.H., during his travels in those countries, in the years 1817, 1818, 1819, 1820. The author's original manuscript; with a table of contents prefixed, commenced by him, and completed by his sister, Miss Jane Porter, who has added a few notes. Many more drawings are contained in this volume, and on a much larger scale, than are engraved in the printed work, published in 1821-2. At the end are inserted four original letters in Persian, addressed to Sir Robert Porter by Prince Abbas Mirza, 1819-1821, and a military sketch of Russia, 1812. Atlas Folio. [14,758.]
