The early portion of this work is attributed to Gomez Eannes de Zurára, after whose death, in 1472, it was continued and completed by Ruy de Pina. At the end is a notice of the various grants made by Alfonso during his reign, with the following title: " Estas saõ as cousas que el Rej Don Alfonso o Quinto deu em sua vida, as quaes cousas Don Vasco da Taide, Prior do Crato, tenha em seu livro assentadas."
