THE Yúm, otherwise named the Sher-chin, or ' Transcendental Wisdom,' the second great division of the Tibetan sacred compilation intitled the Kah-Gyur, comprising the speculative philosophy, translated from the Sanscrit. [See Asiat. Res. vol. xx. p. 393.] Written upon leaves of thick coarse paper, 20 1/2 in. long by 8 1/2 in. wide, with rubrics, and a few paintings. xviiith cent. Presented by B. H.
