Kiffen, Edw.Thornburgh, John Mapletoft, M.D., John Baynes, Henry Aldrich, John Lock, [Locke, the philosopher?], of St. Clements Danes, Gent., Thomas Stringer, John Darrell, of Bermuda, Richard Davy, and Peter Jones, Adventurers to and for the Bahama Islands, dat. 4 Sept. 1672, f. 1 ;-Indenture of articles covenanted to be observed among the members of the same Company of Adventurers, same date, f. 9 ;-Minutes of proceedings at meetings of the Company, at Exeter House [the residence of the Earl of Shaftesbury], Sept.-Nov. 1672, f. 16. On the blank leaves at the end is entered an accompt of household expenses, etc., 1704-1710, kept apparently by Anne, daughter of Richard Seys, Esq., and wife to Peter King, afterwards Lord King, and L^d.
