Wootton in the lordship of Whitton, and Overtone near Burford, and to the family of Whitton, including the marriage settlement (f. 23) of Whorwood Whitton (1599) of the manors of Whitton and of Faintrye [Faintree] in Chelton, with appurtenances, and a plea (f. 46) of Sebastian Harvye and Mary his wife (1610) for pardon for alienation to them of the manor of Whitton, held in capite; temp.
