"Carcta hexecutoria," or definite award, in the case of John Robyns, Thomas Wyllyng, John Jobson, and Thomas Hechyns, merchants of Exeter; Valladolid, 25 Jan. 1541. Spanish. They were arrested on a voyage from Bermeo to San Sebastian, 18 June, 1539, on the charge of exporting coin, and sentenced to death and forfeiture. The sentence was reversed on appeal, and they were released 23 Dec. 1540. Prefixed (f. 2) is a petition to Henry VIII., presenting the above and claiming damages; 1545. Vellum; ff. 30. With an illuminated border on the first page of the "Carcta." Folio.
