"VOYAGE MORAL d'Angleterre" in eighteen letters, 6 Oct.1783- 9 Sept. 1784, by the Chevalier de Lacoste, whose name is stamped on the leather cover and for whom presumably the present copy was executed. Profusely illustrated with contemporary prints of manners and places, and a few drawings. Published anonymously as Voyage Philosophique d'Angleterre, London, 1786, and again in 1787 (see Cat. Gén. des Livres Imprimés de la Bibliothèque Nationale vol. lxxxv (1925), p. 151). Paper; ff. ii + 178. Large folio. No. 163 in the cutting (f. 1) from a French sale-catalogue. Presented by Walter S.
