1. Eighteen letters addressed to Robert Harley (1st Earl of Oxford and Mortimer 1711) from his father and brother, Sir Edward and Edward Harley, at the time of the Revolution; 9 Dec. 1688- Apr. [1689]. f. 1.

3. Letter from J[oseph] Addison, as Secretary to the Lords Justices, to [Matthew] Prior, ambassador in Paris, requesting copies of his dispatches since Queen Anne's death; St. James's, 14 Aug. 1714. f. 244.

His MS. at Windsor (see H.M.C., Calendar of the Stuart Papers, vol. iv, 1910, p. 23) is endorsed as "wrote by Mr. Leslie, junior, at Paris, March, 1716, from Lord Mar's journal," and was published in 1716, with alterations, as the Journal of the Earl of Mar. f. 250.
