Included also, at the end (ff. 125-151), are compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Samuel Wesley, J[ohn ?] S[ebastian ?] Wesley, H[enry Thomas] Smazt, Philip Salter, William Coulson Tregarthen, Thomas Sympson Fisher, F[rederick] Gooch, J- J- H- Taylor, Dr. [Samuel] Arnold, Sir G[eorge] A[lexander] Macfarren and Sir H[erbert] S[tanley] Oakeley, and adaptations from works of Franz Peter Schubert and Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, further particulars of which are given in the Index under the names of the composers. Paper; ff. 15 1. XVIII-xix centt. Large folio. The greater part, if not the whole, of the MS. appears to have belonged to the Rev. Francis Gwynne Wesley, Vicar of Hamsteels, son of Samuel Sebastian Wesley, while ff. 14-17 were probably at one time in the possession of Kellow [John] Pye, and ff. 34-36 in that of W[illiam] F[rederick] Trimnell.
