JOURNALS of proceedings in the House of Commons, and of public events in England, from 19 Sept. 1642 to 10 Dec. 1645; kept by Walter Yonge, of Colyton, co. Devon, Barrister at Law, and member for Honiton in the Long Parliament. The entries are partly in cipher; a key to which, with an index of cortents, is prefixed to each volume. At the end of each volume are short memoranda, principally of a political character. In Vol. I. is a report of a sermon preached by Mr. Newcomen at St. Margaret's, Westminster, on the 5th of November, 1642 ; and in Vol. IV. are reports of a sermon of Mr. Marshall at Westminster Abbey, 10 May, 1645.
