TRANSCRIPTS of 19 charters, of the XIIth-XIVth centt., formerly in the Cotton and D'Ewes collections; with tracings of the seals; made from a volume, belonging to the Earl of Winchilsea, "containing facsimile transcripts of 529 ancient charters, accompanied by drawings of the Seals appended to them," in order to supply deficiencies in the Cotton and Harley collections. Included is also a transcript of a pretended epistle from Pope Constantine (708-715) to Brihtwald, Archbishop of Canterbury (692-731), taken from the same volume, where it is headed, "Ex authographo in Bibliotheca Arundeliana," f. 43. The last transcript is written and annotated by Sir Fred. Madden. Paper; 1858. Folio.
