(8) Prayers to the Virgin. ff. 80b-89;- (9) Evening prayer. ff. 89b-91b. Paper and (ff. 2-6) vellum; ff. i+91. Octavo. A.D. 1767. Calligraphically written in red and black, with pen-work initials and decoration. Five ornamental pages in pen-work, viz. a title-page (f. 2), two pages with designs relating to 'the Turtle-dove' (ff. 3b-4), and two with designs relating to the Virgin Mary (ff. 5b-6). That on f. 5b incorporates a representation, identifiable by an inscription, of the miraculous statue of Mariazell, in Styria. Extraillustrated with eight contemporary engravings: (1) Pietà. f. 1b;- (2) The Agony in the Garden. 'Schwab sc.' [?Johann Caspar Schwab]. f. 9;- (3) The Trinity. 'X. Winkler, Sc. et Ex'.
