The final section (Vols. CXII-CLXV) of the correspondence and papers of Florence Nightingale, O.M. 1907 (b. 1820, d. i910), supplementary to the two other series, viz. Add. MSS. 43393-43403 (Vols. I-Xl) and 45750-45849 (Vols. XII-CXI) which have been described in earlier Catalogues. Some of the documents in this collection (which relates chiefly to the administration of the Nightingale Fund and the foundation of the Training School for Nurses in St Thomas's Hospital) were printed by Sir Edward Tyas Cook in his Life of Florence Nightingale, 1913, and also by Mrs Cecil Woodham-Smith in Florence Nightingale, 1950. Some original letters addressed by Florence Nightingale to her correspondents will be found in these volumes. Fifty-four volumes. Folio. Classified as follows:-
