Four texts, of which two are in Chaghatay and two in Ottoman :
1 (1v-26r): [Jāmi‘ al-tavārīkh], excerpts from sections of Rashīd al-Dīn Fażl Allāh’s universal history, Jāmi‘ al-tavārīkh, concerning the Oghuz Turks, in the Chaghatay translation by Qādir ‘Alī Beg composed in 1005 AH (1596-97 CE);
26r-29r : [Shajara-’i Turk], excerpts from the genealogical work by Abū l-Ghāzī;
30v-43r : An account of Turkic history, from the Cihānnumā of Haci Halife under the heading Haza Kıssa-yı Oğuz, although substantive research by Rysbek Alimov has established that this is in fact a Çingizname. The extract concludes with an article on Qazan. It corresponds to the Istanbul edition of 1145 AH;
44v-51v : A poem on the Mi'raj or ascension of the Prophet Muhammad, under the heading Haza Miracu'n-nebi aleyh as-salavat ve as-salam. The first part is from the form of kaside that rhymes in اه; the remainder is in Mesnevi verse.
The last two piece appear to be in a form of Türki that exhibits exceptional influence from the speech patterns of Tatar-speaking communities along the Volga.
This codex was compiled in the Ottoman Empire in the early 13th century AH (19th century CE).
