The entries give the tenants' names and forms of tenure, with references to inquisitions post mortem, gifts by letters patent, patents of licence to alienate and writs of entry, 28 Henry III - 3 James I, relative to the tenancies. From 34 Henry VIII the majority of references are to an unidentified series of numbered volumes. The entries are arranged alphabetically under place-names. Paper. Six volumes. Large quarto. Note of ownership 'Mr. Rudyerd['s] Book' occurs in 4703 (f. 1). Presented by Smart Lethieullier, 2 June 1758.
