Pustaha, Batak manuscript on the lemon oracle

Pustaha, folding-book manuscript in Toba-Batak script.
On p. a 1 is the following inscription written with a European pen in Latin characters: 'Ompoo Nee Ha ee doo pun / Harryen Soocoo nya / Punn ampoo Hee wrote this / Witness Raja Muntaggar.'
In the Batak text on panampuhi (the lemon oracle) is found, i ma poda ni daompung ku [?] ... haidupan na miyan di Poriaha anak ni Haraan (this is an instruction from my grandfather ... Haidupan who lived in Poriaha [cf. MSS Batak 5], a man of the clan Haraan). Haraan is probably a variant spelling of sub-Toba Harayan, Toba Harean, the name of a clan that is not mentioned in recent publications on Batak genealogy, but which is found in some bark books.
The MS contains poda ni panampuhi aji habonaran beya di sahit madorsa beya di sitasita, etc., all paragraphs beginning jaha unte .... One drawing.
So far as is presently known, this is the first Batak MS to have entered a European collection.
On the reverse side, among other texts, poda ni mintora ni panampuhi aji habonaran.
