The main work (ff. 3-44b) consists of fourteen chapters, at the end of which is a list of the National Synods 1559-1609, with those of 1612 and 1614 added in a later hand. For a similar MS, carrying the list of Synods down to 1637, see Harley MS. 3980. The second part contains accounts of the transactions of the above Synods (omitting that of 1614 held at Tonneins), with numerous comments.
