. Certified as a true copy by Robert Spencer, 2nd Earl of Sunderland. Paper; ff. 12. Small folio. A.D. 1685. The MS. formerly belonged to Thomas Payne, the elder, bookseller, who gave it to George Scott of Woolston Hall, co. Essex, on 30 May 1770 (cf. note in Scott's hand, f.1). It was purchased at the sale of Scott's library in 1781 by Samuel Pegge, the younger, who presented it to the Museum on 19 July 1782.
